Major Structural Damage on Crooked Island
As heard on many radio and tv stations earlier today, there has been some major structural damage on Crooked Island in the Southern Bahamas. At the Colonel Hill High School, a block of classes, including the school's Computer Room have been left without a roof in the aftermath of Hurricane Irene. There was also damage to the roof of St. John's Baptist Church in the Colonel Hill settlement.

PM: Crooked Island To Get Self- Contained Camp This Week
As part of its ongoing effort to bring relief to the southern islands devastated by Hurricane Joaquin, Prime Minister Perry Christie announced yesterday that the government expects several self-sustained containers to land on Crooked Island within 48 hours.
